La Carmela de Boracay Resort Hotel Resort

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel, since it's beachfront, is incredibly near to the beach which I think is the best value of this hotel. The amenities are pretty basic but work for what we need since we were out almost all day. The free WiFi is a plus. No free bottled water which was pretty disappointing.

I have stayed at this beach-front hotel twice. First was with my husband and kids, second was with my parents, husband, and kids. The standard room size is good enough for 4 people. They have good housekeeping service as they responded immediately to you our needs. Their budget-friendly room rates also comes with free buffet breakfast and use of swimming pool. I will probably stay at this hotel again when I go back to Boracay. One thing I don't like about this hotel is that it takes too long to check in and check out. We had to wait for 15-30 minutes before we were escorted to our room. It took even longer to check out. They don't have free WiFi, you have to pay P100 per day and the connection is not even that good.

What I liked about this hotel is that it is beachfront. Most of the time, beachfront hotels are expensive. This one is actually affordable. One of the most important thing about the hotel is that the rooms are clean. In my opinion, since the hotel is beachfront, the sand from the beach is being brought back into the hotel and to the bathroom. Sometimes, the shower get a little clogged because of too much sand. So they may have to think of a solution how not to let that happen.
